According to the company, smartwatches have become more popular than trackers for the first time. In total, 2.5 million wearable electronics were sold in the country: 55% were smart watches, 45% were trackers, while a year earlier, watches occupied less than half of the market.

About 10% of the total volume of the segment was for children’s watches, which help parents track the location of the child and stay in touch with him.

According to MTS, in the first half of 2021, European bought 4% fewer fitness bracelets than in the same period in 2020. The average price of such devices increased by 12% – up to 2.40 $, and the market volume in terms of money grew by 8%. The average price of “smart” watches increased by 15% and amounted 0 to 170$.
