Despite the sadness in the sales of smartwatches based on Android Wear, manufacturers continue to release more and more new models, having learned from the current situation. In particular, the most attractive outwardly model Motorola Moto 360 turned out to be the most successful. Apple initially focused on the original design. LG has now done the same, presenting its third smart watch. Watch Urbane.

In terms of technical characteristics, the novelty is almost identical to the LG G Watch R model. It contains the same round 1.3‑inch P‑OLED display (320x320 pixels), a similar heart rate sensor, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor (1.2 GHz APQ8026 + Adreno 305, 512 MB RAM, 4 GB flash memory) and a 410 mAh battery. LG itself claims that there are other features (for example, water protection at the IP67 level), but so far they are not covered, leaving all the “delicious” for the MWC 2015 conference, which will be held in Barcelona from March 2 to 5.

The main feature of Watch Urbane is the design like a classic wristwatch, a full metal case with natural steel or gold color and a complete strap made of high-quality genuine leather. If desired, it can be changed to any other with a mounting width of 22 mm. The Korean company has not yet announced the exact release date and price of the novelty. [LG]
