The most enjoyable feature of smartwatches is displaying information right on your wrist. But what if I say that it can be output in a larger format?

Haier introduced Asu smart watch with built-in projector. They put information right at your fingertips: distance, time, and progress toward your fitness goals.

Interestingly, the projection supports gesture controls: you can double-tap your hand to change the information on the screen. True, the guys from The Verge did not manage to use the chip, it has not yet been finalized.

The Asu watch has 1 GB of RAM built in, and a 1.2 GHz processor is responsible for performance. Other features include heart rate tracking, GPS, 4G LTE, and a gyroscope.

Haier Asu will go on sale next quarter in China. The price has not yet been disclosed. [CNet]
